Green tea is one of the healthiest types of tea. It contains a lot of L-theanine and antioxidants that calm the mind and stomach. The best green tea is mainly produced in China and Japan.
For green tea, the topmost leaves and buds of the tea plant are picked. It is treated so that the leaves do not oxidize but retain their green color and health benefits. Green tea production was invented in China, but it has later spread to other East Asian countries and India.
